SECRET THEME PARK PROJECTS


Due to NDA, I can't actually reveal these interactive theme park projects publicly, but I'll still list out my responsibilities here as best I can.


SECRET PROJECT 1 - GAME DIRECTOR

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team of game developers to create multiple interactive games for a high-profile theme park attraction.
  • Vision holder for the games and what park guests should experience.
  • Worked with producer to establish development processes and improved communication between the client and our studio.
  • Worked with leads to measurably improve team morale when it was low.
  • Held regularly one on one's with team members to ensure their voices were heard and we could incorporate their feedback to improve their experience and the games.
  • Regularly playtested the games to provide feedback and guidance to the team.
  • Travelled to the client location to work at the attraction mockup space.
  • Conflict management.

 

SECRET PROJECT 2 - GAME FEEL SPECIALIST

  • Briefly brought in to leverage my past experience to improve the game feel for a high-profile theme park attraction before it shipped.
